our trip to Bulewayo was absolutely amazing. we had fantastic leaders and the team is the best that I've ever been on. I feel totally different, I feel that I've grown in every way. My faith is stronger and the friends that I made are now friends forever. Zimbabwe fills my heart and so does the entire team.

Here’s a polished, heartfelt version: My trip with Mission Direct was truly unbelievable — challenging, rewarding and life-changing. I was supported amazingly by my team and grew spiritually so much through the experience. Everything was incredibly well organised, and we were so well looked after both in England and by the wonderful trip organisers in Zimbabwe. I came home with incredible memories, a deeper faith, and friendships that I know will last a lifetime. An unforgettable experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend.

I had a great time though found the work quite hard, having to do 3 coats of paint at Kiine School. We worked well as a team and got it all finished. The building at Crown of Life School was heavy with the concrete blocks having to be moved to the site first, Liz and I carried a block between us. The building work was alright and again Liz and I worked together to lift up the blocks and position them. Kumbaya School was incredible with all the children there as we painted and then served their lunch. The afternoon visits were enlightening and I found the children accepted us well and wanted to take part in things. I certainly saw something of the kind of life so many children in Zambia have to face, and how they help each other, and the dedication of adults who want to give them opportunities to live a better life as they grow up. The trip to Livingstone was brilliant, and something I never expected to do. Thank you for the opportunity and for all the organisation on your part and on Geoff's.

An unforgettable Zimbabwe adventure with Mission Direct… full of friendship, faith and practical service. We travelled with suitcases filled with practical hope and returned with hearts full of gratitude. The warmth of the welcome, shared laughter of new friends and new ways to serve and learn were remarkable. A brilliant trip that challenged, inspired and changed all of us.
